Prostate Cancer: We have participated as guest lecturers at the Prostate Cancer Public Forum in San Diego. Our topic was "Navigating the HMOs". We are particularly interested in helping patients with prostate cancer, and all malignancies, to obtain insurance pre-authorization for new treatments such as radioactive seed implants, that are being denied by HMOs or insurance carriers.

Breast Cancer: Our law firm has been working with the Cancer Center at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, California, on a regular basis to help obtain insurance pre-certification and reimbursement for patients with breast cancer requiring high dose chemotherapy and autologus bone marrow transplantation (HDCT-ABMT) or stem-cell support.

Bone Marrow Transplants: We are interested in matters having to do with denial of bone marrow transplantation and have represented patients and providers with regard to insurance denials for breast cancer, multiple myeloma and other conditions.

Medical Malpractice: We represent injured plaintiffs exclusively. Our knowledge of medicine and health care and the law helps us to quickly and accurately determine the medical-legal merits of a potential case.

HMO's: We are particularly interested in cases involving HMO's and managed care that result in medical malpractice because of denial of medically necessary treatments or poor quality health care. We are dedicated to fighting HMO's when cost-cutting and financial disincentives victimize patients and result in injury or death.

Nursing Home and Elder Care Abuse: As our population ages, elder abuse and nursing home abuse regretfully is becoming more prevalent. Our law firm is interested in such cases, particularly cases involving the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act (EADACPA).

Birth Injuries: Although the birth of a child is typically a joyous event, we will help you when a child suffers a serious birth injury from forceps delivery, anoxia, medications, c-section or failure to timely deliver.
